so the idea of blogging never even occurred to me until my sister mentioned it. Wait, I take that back. She didn't just mention it, she told me to do it. She is good like that. She sees what needs to be done and she encourages and prods and follows up until you obey her. I am obeying you, Holly.
The truth is, I am really obeying my best friend, my sweet Jesus. He has done some amazing things in my life and heart this year, and I need to tell! There is power in a testimony. He does not love us and give to us and then expect us to horde it or hide it. He wants us to share, to pass on to others the good things He has done. I want to bring Him glory by testifying. So that's why I'm doing this trendy thing that everybody else does but I would never do. I'm doing it for Him. And I'm doing it for YOU. Get ready. My story is coming.
Yay, Rachelle! Good for you! I write a blog for Nathan & I on WordPress and I love it! I am looking forward to checking your blog out :) Miss you!

ReplyDeleteAt first I was like what? What in the world is this? I don't even know how to navigate this thing (which is comical now once I figured it out because it is so not that hard) A blog? Rachelle? Holly? Huh? Then I read it. Your beautiful dream and your inspiring words. I am speechless. I am proud. And I love you my dear, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteThank you, everyone, for your encouraging comments! You are making me smile.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear what God's been up to in your heart! Maybe you ought to drive up to Columbia on a Thursday night and share with my college students!! In fact, pray about it and then call me and let's talk further!
ReplyDeleteTell Bob I said hello. Take care,
